Tribute to Kevin Weller, 1955 - 2024

So many memories from back in our diving days, holidays, days out on diving boats, and days on land when alternatives were sought due to bad weather and apres dive which was usually the pub for a bite to eat and a pint. Your hate of curry and love of ham egg and chips, and banoffee pie. I have a lasting memory of Kevin rolling around on the seabed during a drift dive because he had spotted a huge lobster and wanted to show it to me, I never did see it but spent the rest of the dive trying not spit out my regulator because of laughing so much. Unfortunately life and house moves got in the way and we didn’t see much of you in the past 20 plus years but when we did manage, it was like we had only just seen you the week before. Rest in peace Kevin, xx

Kevin, we will miss your sharp wit and dry humour, your interesting conversation and laughter. Thankyou for the interest you showed in mine and Tom’s life and for sharing our wedding day with us. We feel honoured to have shared that with you as a last memory, but will forever wish we could have made more. I hope you’re having one hell of a reunion up there. Until we see you again ❤️

A memory I shall always hold dear and I have passed on to all of my children. Kevin’s childish giggle telling me to JFGI, thinking it was a computer thing I googled… you should too! He will never know but I learned so much from him and still apply his ethics in my work daily. I can only imagine wherever you are you’re already tidying and making lists of ‘to do’s’ Fly high Mr Weller x
